What kind of bed frame is recommended for a memory foam mattress?
We bought a memory foam mattress and box springs about 6 months ago. The box springs keep breaking, the boards just snap. It's been replaced 5 times, and upgraded the box springs so I can't blame it on the mfg ! I have asked if we need some kind of special bedframe, ours is just metal with a cross bar, and was told it should be fine. Please help! This is getting embarassing!
The boards can only break if it is a cheaply built foundation or the steel frame underneathe the foundation is lacking center support. Check out Flobeds they make some really heavy duty foundations.
