How do you prevent a heating pad from burning the carpet?
My heating pad keeps on burning the carpet even though the cage is 2 feet off the ground.
You should place something between the cage and ground. for example, get some rubber/plastic sliders (these stick under the tank to make about a 10 centimeter space between cage and table) and then place the gace on a table! Or get a new heater... I have a desert wave under tank heater and it heats my 5 gallon tank up to about 20 degrees (Celcius)
